- Georgia Dome – This is the centerpiece for sports and entertainment in downtown Atlanta. You can catch the Falcons playing here in the Fall, and many other huge sporting events such as the Chick-fil-A bowl in January.
- Philips Arena – This is the home of the Hawks, Thrashers, and Dream. This is also a hot venue for many concerts and entertainment acts. You can always find something going on at the Philips Arena throughout the year.
- Turner Field – This is the home of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta’s most storied and prized sports franchise. You can catch them hitting home runs throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
- Georgia Aquarium – Do you like sharks? You probably don’t want to see one in the wild, but these amazing creatures can be seen at the Georgia Aquarium behind glass and away from you. The Georgia Aquarium was recently built, and it’s one of the hottest attractions in Atlanta. Don’t miss this one!
- Centennial Olympic Park – This 21-acre site was one of the most popular spots in the city during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Top 3 Tourist Summer Attractions In Atlanta, Georgia
Summer is approaching and many people will be traveling this summer. If you have family or friends in Atlanta or you’ll be doing business in Atlanta this summer, there is a lot to do in this vibrant city. Six Flags Over Georgia is one of the better Six Flags theme parks, and it’s very convenient to those flying into Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. If you love roller coasters, this is the place to be! Dive into a sea of the unknown and see some fish and sea creatures that you’ve never seen before! I’ve never been to the Georgia Aquarium, but I’ve heard that it’s the best aquarium in the country. It’s a great place for the entire family or even a businessman looking to kill some time in between business meetings. If you love the ocean and fish, you’ll love this place!
