So you've checked out your car rental in Orlando International Airport
at the new E-Z Rent-A-Car location and now you are looking for
something to do. Luckily, Orlando is an excellent place to accomplish
this goal, especially if you are bringing the kids along. Here is a top
10 list of things to do in Orlando.
1. Walt Disney World
With 4 theme parks that spread across the size of a major
city, Disney is still king of central florida with Epcot, Animal
Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom leading the charge. Make
sure you come with a gameplan because there is an infinite amount of
things to do.
2. Disney Waterparks
Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are a great time and bring a tropical
flavor that northern natives are craving. There are lazy rivers, giant
water slides, surf pools and the latest and greatest in water park fun.'
3. Islands of Adventure
Islands of Advenure (Universal Studios) is as great thing for both
teenagers and adults. There are a number of themed rides and roller
coasters that are sure to make the heart jump and grown men scream.
4. Universal's Seuss
Landing
This is a great destination for the kids. Seuss Landing is 10 acres in
all and is based on the beloved books of Dr. Seuss.
5. Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney presents a nice slice of night life, all packaged in
good, clean fun. Here you can eat at a nice restaurant, dance the night
away, watch live music, check out the Lego store or simply watch the
many people walk by.
6. Wet'n Wild Orlando
This is a great waterpark for kids and teens alike. There are water
slides for everyone.

Sea World Orlando is always a great time. Here you can soak up some
rays while checking out the coolest aquatic life in the world.
8. City Walk
Universal Florida offers City Walk, which is great for those looking to
party but also good for live entertainment and excellent dining.
9. Discovery Cove
This is a sister park to SeaWorld, so it's suggested to do both. This
is much like a Caribbean isle, where you can snorkel at the reef and
see tons of aquatic fish and gentile stingrays.
10. Focus on the family
Depending on where you stay, your hotel will likely have a pool and
maybe even a floating river of its own. Visiting the attractions is
great but staying at the hotel and relaxing with your family may be
just what the doctor ordered as you gear up for more fun.
This is a great list for family fun and does not even begin to touch
the very active night life scene downtown. Nor does it cover the easily
accessible beaches such as Cocoa Beach, which sits just 45 minutes
away. All of these are great reasons to rent a car and start exploring
orlando.
